Meet the Emaline Quilt!
I’m so excited to announce my latest quilt pattern, Emaline, is in the newest issue of Make Modern magazine! Released every other month, each issue is packed with quilt patterns and interesting articles. The blocks of this throw-size quilt are so very easy to construct — the units are all made with strip piecing — but the final result is a puzzling feast for the eyes.
She’s a Cover Girl — Meet the Tiled Quilt!
I’m so excited to announce my latest pattern, Tiled, is in the newest issue of Make Modern magazine. And not just that, but she’s on the cover! This throw quilt design was inspired by bathroom tiles -- you can really find inspiration anywhere you look. A simple block rotated and sashed makes for a truly dramatic finish, one that could go in so many different directions depending on your fabric choices.

Fabric Palette Friday #6: Rainbows Never Go Out of Style
Happy new year and happy return to Fabric Palette Friday! It feels good to be back. I’m not going to lie; we’ve had a rough first few weeks of 2022. With everything going on, it felt particularly nice to pull together this beautiful rainbow of solids for a baby version of my next pattern, Heart of Hearts! This stack mixes a range of Art Gallery Pure solids and Kona solids, and it’s bringing me life right now.
Fabric Palette Friday #5: Cool Solids
Happy Fabric Palette Friday! This week is a return to solids. This bundle found its way into my cart when I perusing Cottoneer Fabrics one day. I wasn’t even trying to put anything specific together and was trying to flesh out my solids collection with some new Art Gallery colors that I just loved. But when I saw them side by side in the cart, I knew they were destined to be together in a quilt.
