Fabric Palette Friday #9: The Way-Back Machine

Happy Fabric Palette Friday! For this week’s palette, we’re headed to the way-back machine, pulling out a grouping I created for a sew-along several years ago but sadly never used. It may be one of my favorites ever, and it’s a darn shame it hasn’t made it into a very happy project yet. I may have to find a way to remedy that very soon.

I started off by pulling out my Robert Kaufman Kona solids color swatches, collecting some of my favorite teal and citron shades and then drawing in some lovely corals and grays in a range of shades. Because I love to include texture, I then added in some coordinating Manchester yarn-dyed cottons. If you’re a texture person and you’ve never used them before, I highly recommend giving them a try.
