Fabric Palette Friday #10: Rainbow Stripes

Happy Fabric Palette Friday! It’s been a few weeks since I returned from QuiltCon, but my head is still buzzing with inspiration from the quilt show. Shortly after I came home, I started working on a simple quilt design that needed just the right fabric to elevate it to the look I was going for. This week’s palette is that fabric, a rainbow array of stripes from Alison Glass’s Kaleidoscope Stripe collection.

I’ve actually used the plaid version of these fabrics for several quilt bindings in the past, and they’re just perfect for adding movement and interest to the binding without using a real print. I can’t wait to let these stripes shine in a quilt top.
