Fabric Palette Friday #1: Aqua Baby Quilt

One of my favorite things about my quilty social media is seeing the posts where people share pictures of their latest fabric pull, whether they have a specific quilt in mind for it or not. They’re not only lovely to look at, but they’re also inspirational. I can’t tell you the number of times I’ve liked a post and then wanted to immediately run to my stash to see if I could pull something similar. With inspiration in mind, today I’m sharing my first Fabric Palette Friday post! Each Friday, I’ll plan to share a fabric pull from my own stash. It could be for my current quilt, something I’ve done before, or just something I’m drooling over that week. I used to work in my local quilt store, and pulling palettes together was my favorite part of the job. This is a little chance for me to get back to it.

So without further ado, here’s the first palette! Isn’t it the sweetest? For one of the baby quilt samples for the Folded in Love pattern, I pulled out this Moda Fabrics dessert roll that’s been in my stash for awhile and paired it with a tried and true Essex yarn-dyed linen in aqua for the background. What would you make with this?
