Deco Oyster PDF Paper-Pieced Block Pattern (Download)
Originally designed for Quilt Block Mania, the Deco Oyster Block stemmed from an idea to create a more geometrical oyster shell. When I squared off the edges, the shell had a distinctly Art Deco vibe, which I really loved. It’s simple, stylish, and a look all its own, and I’m all here for it. I hope you love it, too! I could envision a whole undersea world of Art Deco creatures.
—Includes paper-piecing templates to make a single 12.5” block (finishes at 12”).
—Uses both foundation paper piecing and applique techniques.
—The pattern assumes basic paper-piecing knowledge. If you need instructions on how to do foundation paper piecing, I highly recommend the tutorial by Leila Gardunia.
—Downloadable pdf (no physical items will be sent). PDF can be viewed digitally or printed on 8.5" x 11" paper.
