Lotta Love Blocks Tutorial
Hi, everyone! I cannot believe it’s already February. It seems like we were just chatting One Scrappy Santa yesterday, but now we’re on to hearts and pink and love. To celebrate this new season, I’m excited to share a “lovely” new tutorial with you over on the Havel’s Sewing blog!
The Scrappiest One Scrappy Santa
You’ve seen the ombré quilt version of One Scrappy Santa, as well as its coordinating pillow, so now it’s time for all the details on the scrappy quilt! I’ll admit that when I designed this pattern, I was originally planning on only doing the ombré version, but the more I worked on it, the more I knew there had to be a version that utilized precuts and/or scraps, and I’m so glad I did it.
Liven Up Your Couch with the One Scrappy Santa Pillow
One Scrappy Santa isn’t just a quilt pattern — it includes a pillow option, too, and in this post, I want to tell you all about the coordinating ombre pillow I made to match the cover quilt.
Celebrate the Holidays with One Scrappy Santa!
I’m so excited to show you my newest pattern, just in time for some quick and easy holiday sewing: meet One Scrappy Santa, my first holiday-inspired quilt pattern! It uses half-rectangle triangles and a rectangle patchwork background to highlight a giant Santa hat. Choose an ombré or scrappy version for a Throw quilt and/or coordinating pillow. You won’t regret making both.
Simple Holiday Craft Ideas
Each year, I seem to kind of flip back and forth between wanting to make all the holiday gift items and decorations and just selecting a few small projects to work on. Regardless of which end of the cycle you might be in this year, quick, small handmade projects are always a fun way to sneak in a little special holiday sewing, and I’ve got several on the site that are just perfect for that.
